Debora Morris

 As a teacher, I taught art at the
grade school, middle and high school
level before going into the business
world. I now find myself returning to
creating my own works.

Painting is a natural process for me
instilled from childhood. I grew up in a
family where we all created art.

I generally take my own photos and
then work in the studio to compose
the finished project. I am drawn to
scenes that have a bit of extraordinary
in seemingly everyday views. My
overall goal in painting is to create a
calm response in the midst of a
complex world.
